Dr. Glen Ross excels when dealing with all aspects of hair transplants and hair restoration. He has over a decade of specialized hair transplant experience that enables him to perform fantastically with each and every case at Plastic Surgery of New York.
From micropigmentation through to FUE and FUT hair transplants, Dr. Ross ensures that his patients are well-informed and well looked after. From a detailed consultation, through to the surgery itself and the aftercare, every element of the procedure is considered and explained. In terms of his favourite element of the work, Dr. Ross says; “I love the creativity and artistry involved with the procedure and helping someone to restore their hair and their self-confidence is incredibly rewarding.” It is this union of artistry and science which enables Dr. Ross to deliver such skillful and aesthetically pleasing results in every patient.
Dr. Ross’s career began with his undergraduate degree at Union College in Schenectady. He went on to earn his medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Prior to specializing in hair restoration, Dr. Ross was called to Emergency Medicine, and in fact he became the Director of the Emergency Departments at major hospitals throughout NYC. Technical prowess, executive decision-making, and constant change defined his time in the Emergency Departments, and he excelled. When he decided to change career paths, he called upon his background in Art and Literature and chose a practice that utilized the more aesthetic elements of his skills. Hair transplant surgery represented the perfect next step in his medical career. He has since been delivering fantastic hair transplant and scalp micropigmentation results to patients across the New York area.
